  The following details were provided by Jonathon Myers from his own research or from copies of documents he provided:- 1. Of Jewish descent. 2. Joined his son Junius in Bel Air Harford County, Maryland USA in 1822 and died there. 3. Had strong sympathy for U.S. and induced his son to give up his plan of a Navy career when he was about to be ordered to fight against the Americans in 1812 war of Indepedence. 4. ran away at one stage to join the American revolutionists but only got as far as Paris.
